Rugby League World Cup 2008

18 games, 12 venues, 10 teams and 1 cup. The 2008 Rugby League World cup unites the world’s finest players and the world’s greatest teams in some of the world’s best venues. Australia, England, Fiji, France, Ireland, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Scotland and Tonga, the world’s league powerhouses are all competing for the right to call themselves World Champions.

This October and November, 100 years of league will boil down to just 18 games and on the 1st November, WIN Stadium Wollongong will play host to the France v Fiji game, so make sure you get down there and support the teams as they play in the Rugby League World Cup!

You can grab your tickets to the game from ticketek outlets, online at premier.tecketek.com.au or you can call 1300 136 494.

i98 Rugby League World Cup “Wrong Calls”

It’s just plain wrong on i98 as we construct dummy calls from the France v Fiji Game. Within each call we will have one mistake and it’s up to you to pick it out and be the first caller through to win a double pass to the France v Fiji Game to be held at WIN Stadium on the 1st November 2008.

For example: Fijian player Akuila Uate passes the ball to Daryl Millard who kicks it on to Justin Timberlake for a try!

It’s a bad call week, starting 6th October on your station i98.
