  Wollongong Wacky Wanderers
The Wollongong Whacky Wanderers is a committee that organizes a charitable car event annually raising funds for The Shepherd Centre, giving deaf and hearing impaired children a voice

On Friday the 17th of October, the Wollongong Wacky Wanderers will leave Wollongong on their way to regional NSW for three days of great driving, unexplained events, and humor all to promote the Illawarra region and raising money for the Shepard Centre

  Starry Starry Night
Wollongong High School of Performing Arts in conjunction with WHSPA Productions and Finance Control are staging Starry Starry Night, a red carpet retrospective celebrating Wollongong's performance stars.

The event will be held at the Regent Theater at 7.30pm on Friday the 17th of October. Tickets start from only $38.50 or $78.50 to enjoy A-Reserve seating with drinks and canapés before the show and are now available through Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.com.au or on 136 100.

The concert will present a unique fusion of dance, drama & music, with this montage of past and present Wollongong public school students, proving testament to the ability of the public sector to produce and foster performance stars.

It will host performances from The Next Step, the latest production by the world-renowned Tap Dogs, Brendan Irving, Jessica Garraway and BlueScope Mercury Band Competition finalists Lumiere.

This concert will raise funds for the school and ensure Wollongong's future stars are developed and nurtured.

  Convoy
Marty and Erica’s Camp Quality Convoy for Kids is on again! The convoy will be held on Sunday the 16th of November, beginning at 9am at Westcliff Colliery on Appin road and ends with a fun day at the Croome Rd Sporting Complex in Albion Park, where from 10am the trucks and motorbikes in the convoy will be displayed. There will be heaps of rides, food and entertainment by Aussie rock legends, the Screaming Jets! Trucks and motorbikes only can be in the Convoy, and registration is $25. Go to i98fm.com.au to download a rego form. So make sure you join in the fun whilst raising funds to brighten the lives of kids with cancer.

  Massive Monster Motor Show
The Rotary Club of Corrimal is staging the Massive Monster Motor Show on Sunday 30th November at Campus East Fairy Meadow from 9am - 4pm. There will be exhibits of motors, machinery and mechanics of all types. Cars, motor bikes, antique motors, farm machinery and discrete motors of all types. Plus of course food, drinks and entertainment throughout the day. Money raised will go to children with cancer and associated research, so join in this day for lots of fun and enjoyment for the whole family!
